From some insight infos from a media reporter, what happens at the Taiwan tourism board press conference is that Jolin actually is recommending abt some shopping areas in taipei n she says tat she grows up in taipei, n therefore, knows taipei better. n Director Wu actually added saying that all the shopping areas that Jolin mentioned, he has never heard of it.
And he says that he is more familiar with some seneric areas and areas at "Jiu fen" as that's His hometown. he listed some areas wHich directors love to film their movie at, and Jolin said that she isn't very familiar with those rural areas.
And thIs shows how inetHical the newpapers are in distorting the facts to snatch headlines. They totally left out the fact about Director Wu not knowing any tHing about shopping areas in Taipei and just put all the blames on Jolin as she has more entertainment value.
Right from the start, the Taiwan Tourism Board has planned to have Jolin n Director Wu Nian Zhen to endorse 2 different theme of Taiwan's Tourism Promotion tHis year. Jolin will be endorsing the city and fashIon part of Taiwan, wHile Director Wu endorsing the seneric and rural parts of Taiwan. Therefore there is not much of an issue for Jolin not knowing her facts about the rural parts of Taiwan
as that is defiNitely not under her job scope.
